Love Notes

I don't normally do this because I believe in putting down my own words, not someone else's, and it is a little corny, but I think this song sums up a lot of how I feel -

The Power Of Love

Songwriters: Mende, Gunther; Rush, Jennifer; Applegate, Mary; De Rouge, Candy;

The whispers in the morning
Of lovers sleeping tight
Are rolling like thunder now
As I look in your eyes

I hold on to your body
And feel each move you make
Your voice is warm and tender
A love that I could not forsake

'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I'll do all that I can

Lost is how I'm feeling, lying in your arms
When the world outside's too
Much to take
That all ends when I'm with you

Even though there may be times
It seems I'm far away
Never wonder where I am
'Cause I am always by your side

'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I'll do all that I can

We're heading for something
Somewhere I've never been
Sometimes I am frightened
But I'm ready to learn
Of the power of love

The sound of your heart beating
Made it clear
Suddenly the feeling that I can't go on
Is light years away

'Cause I am your lady
And you are my man
Whenever you reach for me
I'll do all that I can

We're heading for something
Somewhere I've never been
Sometimes I am frightened
But I'm ready to learn
Of the power of love

Merry Christmas Babe!  I love you!!

Hi Mary

I came across your blog - I am 41 and my husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's four days after the birth of our 3rd child five years ago. He is 45 and his health has declined a lot in the past two years. We just had our fifth baby six months ago and life is not as simple as it could be; juggling babies and Parkinson's has been hard work. I enjoyed reading some of your blog tonight; there were many things I related to. I live in Australia - it is late at night and the house is quiet; I stumbled across your words and it made me think I am not alone. This time of night when I have minutes to think about life without the interruptions of children are both good and bad ... sometimes too much time means I overthink my situation. Anyway just wanted to say your words make a great read and you are not alone.

take care

Simone,
Thank you for your kinds words! We are never alone, even if it takes searching the internet in the middle of the night to find a like-minded person. There are a few of us out there - young wives and mothers dealing with the daily stress of that, plus PD.

Keep in touch!! :)
